FOBP Fall 2012 Fundraiser Update

Thanks to ALL who helped make the December 5 fundraiser at Atown a success!

The event supported the local economy and artists and Friends of Brentwood Park. FOBP received 10% of sales that evening, as well as several individual donations. Funds raised will support our latest project—a new trail in Brentwood Park; more info about that here.

Atown, at 5502 Burnet Road, is a great place to shop in a relaxed environment, with a location very close to our neighborhood.

Many neighbors were there, some for the first time, buying gifts for friends and family. Some of the local artists were present, and you could buy direct from them.

Mindful Body Center offered free chair massages, made a donation to FOBP, and held a drawing for complimentary spa services.

GUS T-shirts donated $5 for each t-shirt sale to FOBP, for a total of $50.

Holli Brown, of Holli Brown Mosaics, donated items for an in-store raffle.

Kat Correa and Karen Lorenzini of FOBP kept the wine flowing, which helped everyone to feel the holiday spirit.

Thanks again to all who participated!
